I am delighted and honored to be leading a very experienced team of orthopedic, trauma, and neurosurgical spine surgeons in a university hospital that has top-level departments in every discipline. This enables us to offer all types of revision surgery in our department. We have optimal diagnostic facilities and the ability to independently choose between all possible treatments — whether conservative therapy, neuromodulation, minimally invasive therapy, or open and very complex operations — in a single department, following a single decision algorithm, with one team. This is the basis for really identifying the optimal treatment for each individual patient. The team’s direct, one-stop access to all options is an advantage that we pass on to each patient.
